Here I am again, and at the suggestion of Rachel Horton, writing my once every two year blog spot. That is right, check the date out.
I plan on being more prolific in 2013 and beyond. I will be writing at 2daycruise.blogspot.com and a few others. I opened up a google plus account so look for things there too.
Anyway, I am getting writers cramp, you see, I only write every two years ... SOrry had to shake out my hans, (too tired to write hands).

P.S.
Since this is a travel Blog I should say something travel related.

  1. Parts of Iraq are going to get some US airlines traffic according to FAA
  2. Hurricane season is finally over, in the Atlantic, forever.
  3. The owners and operators of 2daycruise.com have updated the website today.

Ok, you are now up to travel date.

Universal Travel Group (UTA) growing pains

I need to speak a little about travel in China. China is a large country with an enormous emerging middle class and this class will travel. That said, I need to mention "Universal Travel Group, (UTA) en.cnutg.com. There is a guy from, Bronte Capital, that badblogged this Chinese online travel company, Universal Travel Group. Seems his worst fear is that the website, (en.cnutg.com) is acting funny. I tried it and it is acting funny, slow at some corners plain stupid at other turns, but for the most part OK. To this I say, I have been in the online travel biz since 1996 and I saw Hotels.com grow up and have growing pains, I've seen Travolocity.com go through digital nightmares, Orbitz.com destroyed a whole online community of affiliates in one fail swoop. All i'm saying, is that, we growers, have all had our growing pains. Universal Travel Group, (UTA) wants to compete and it will and it will also fix the bugs, (bugs are never completely fixed, just as Micro something or another). To all this I say "This to shall pass".

Hotel411.com, New Kid on the Block

Hotel411.com is not really the new kid on the block, we have been around since 1996.
We started out as net411.com then bought fortlauderdalehotels.com and never stopped growing.
There are 357 domain names in our portfolio of which only 60 are developed. This leave us loads of room for even more growth in 2008 and beyond. We purchased Travel411.com in 2004 and will finish developing it in last quarter 2010 or early quarter 2011. The 60 domains receive approximately 310,000. unique visitors a day, that's over 113 million uniques a year. We have been called, a "Silent Giant", by some and I like that term, although we will be busting out soon, and not so silent.
